McKenzies are in sequel, eh?

LOS ANGELES Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis will return as thebeer-guzzling Canadian brothers Bob and Doug McKenzie in "Home Brew,"a sequel to the 1983 cult classic "Strange Brew."

Paul Flaherty is set to direct the film, starting July 12.

"It's almost appropriately lame for the McKenzie brothers towait 17 years to do a sequel," Thomas joked. Dan Aykroyd is in talksto co-star.Thomas and Moranis created the dimwitted McKenzies on "SCTV" asa protest against Canadian government regulations for "Canadiancontent" in domestic television programming.
