FED:WA, QLD, NT to get bigger GST slice

Queensland .. Western Australia and the Northern Territory will get a bigger slice
of GST revenue in 2011/12.

The Commonwealth Grants Commission has advised Victoria's share will be smaller because
of more buoyant property markets and slower relative wages growth .. while changes in
other jurisdictions are modest.

The commission says mining revenues continue to boost the fiscal capacity of Queensland
and especially Western Australia .. but their impact on GST shares have been offset by
slower property …
