SA: Man trapped for 2 hours under truck

A man was trapped under an overturned semi-trailer for two hours on the Sturt Highway
near Truro, about 150km northeast of Adelaide, overnight.

Police say the man was driving the truck, laden with potatoes and strawberries, when
it rolled about 1.20am (CST).

The man's legs were pinned under the truck's cabin for more than two hours while Country
Fire Service crews worked to free him.

The man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with a broken leg and
minor lacerations after heavy rain prevented the Rescue One helicopter from landing.

The Sturt Highway was blocked for several hours until CFS crews used a crane to remove
the truck and cleaned up a diesel spill.
